Must log in every day?

Since the most recent update (to 4.6.0.384) I have to log in every time I start my computer. This generally means twice a day. I believe prior to this, it was only once a month or so. Is this a new policy or is something screwy going on with my CC?

This coincides with the CC app suddenly suggesting that I mean <my user name>@mail.com instead of my actual email address, which is close to it. I've never had a mail.com account.

I'm on a Windows 10 machine, CC user since 2014.

quit the cc app

delete the Adobe PCD folder and SLStore folders - locations shown at this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/configuration-error.html

restart the app.

That applies in my situation, as well as when receiving the configuration error? Because I don't have the config error and haven't changed anything to mess up the configuration.
