My Adobe Muse free trial won't download.

I want to download the 30-day free trial of Adobe Muse for a school project, but when I log on to my Adobe account and click download the free trial, it says "Adobe Muse is downloading now..." but nothing downloads. The screen doesn't change, there is no loading bar, and nothing shows up as downloading/downloaded. I've used Adobe's various free trials before and had no problem, and this is the first time anything weird has happened on this account. Anyone know what to do to make it download? I've already tried refreshing or closing and reopening the page and going through the download steps again, but nothing is changing anything and I cannot find anything on Google.

This has also now prevented me from opening Illustrator. (Not a trial, it's on my computer from me buying the full version)

Hi Anne,

Please try the following steps and see if this helps:

1- Force Quit all Adobe related processes from Activity Monitor in the same order see, Use Activity Monitor on your Mac - Apple Support

  • Creative Cloud,
  • Core sync,
  • CC library
  • CX process
  • Adobe Desktop Services,
  • Adobe IPC broker, Adobe Crash daemon

2- Go To: Finder > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installer > Uninstall Adobe Creative cloud ( if having trouble uninstalling it Trash it )

3- Go To: Finder > Applications > Utilities > ( Delete these two folders - Adobe creative cloud and Adobe Application Manager )

4- Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option. You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( " Do not miss ~ symbol " )

~/library ( It will open User Library folder. )

5- Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe> trash OOBE folder and AAM Updater folder as well

6- Again > Right click on Finder icon and  select "Go-To" Folder option.> You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.

/library ( It will open System Library folder.)

7- Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe> trash OOBE folder and Adobe Application Manager / after this rename the file SL-STORE as SL-STORE_OLD

8- Go to Apple icon > System preferences > security and privacy > Firewall > TURN OFF ( to do this you will have to click on the padlock in the left bottom corner of this machine and then enter your mac password)

9- Go to Apple icon > System preferences > security and privacy > General > Allow apps downloaded from should be on ANYWHERE

10- Make sure there are no other Internet security program enabled - if not then go ahead and launch CC app and sign in and check (Check your browser extensions as well id there any security toolbar or advertisement blocking extensions installed disable them)

11- Run Adobe Cleaner tool. > If present, Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click on "Clean up Selected" .

http://download.macromedia.com/SupportTools/Cleaner/mac/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg

12- Click on the below link and download Creative Cloud Installer file and use the same to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

Hi Anne,

Please check if you have the Adobe Creative cloud desktop app installed on your machine and also see if it is working or not.

Please mention the operating system version you are using.

Bani

I'm using a Mac with OS X Yosemite and I do have Creative Cloud on my computer and I'm pretty sure it's working.
