My computer doesn't recognize the adobe photoshop elements 13 new disk.

I bought an adobe photoshop elements 13 to install it in my computer.  My computer complies with all requirements to install this program.  I subscribed and obtained my serial number.  But when I insert the disk in my computer, my computer doesn't recognize it.  What can I do, please?  Is somebody out there who can help me?

    Nobody can tell you anything without exact system info. Presumably your disc drive is simply not correctly installed on the system. Anyway, simply try the downloads.

    Dear Mylenium,

    Thank you for your answer.  I have an iMac OS X Yosemite with 1T capacity.  It has a cd and dvd drive.  I use Google Chrome.  I don't know what else you need to know to help me.  I can't download the program because I have already bought it.  My computer has all the requirements to install the program but something is wrong because my computer doesn't recognize the disk even though I made my subscription and got my serial number.  If you can do something for me, I'll greatly appreciate it.  If not, I thank you anyway for your answer.

    I forgot to tell you that my Mac version is 10.10.1.
