my computer was stolen. Is it possible to change my serial number or deactivate the software on a computer I don't have. I'm using Adobe Creative Suite and Web Premium CS6 Student Edition on a PC.

My computer was stolen. Is it possible to change the serial number or deactivate the program on a computer I don't have? I'm using Adobe Creative Suite CS6 Student Edition on a PC.

    We will not be able to deactivate it or change the serial number, however, if the stolen laptop user is asked for Adobe ID , he will not be able to provide it or activate it during reinstall.

    I have the same issue...stolen laptop.....it is active so the above answer means that they can use my copy forever???? and I can't get it on a second computer again????
