My CPU is not compatible with AVX2. I need to download a previous version but it is not available through Creative Cloud

Hi! My CPU is not compatible with AVX2, a requirement of the latest Photoshop. I need to download a previous version (v21 or v22) but it is not available through Creative Cloud. I have been told by adobe help to post the question here. Thanks in advance!

We appreciate your long-term usage of our services. I am sorry, but the versions of our applications that did not require AVX2 compatibility are no longer available for download for individual subscribers. If you have a separate membership through an organization, Elenamarimon, contact them to request a copy of the installation files.

If you are no longer able to take advantage of your Creative Cloud subscription, Elenamarimon, because you do not have a device capable of running our current offerings, then please contact us directly. We don't want you to pay for a service you can't use.

There is no official way to download the 2020 versions. You can try to contact Adobe support and present your case; they might decide to provide you the download links, but the chances are rather slim.

You can also try to use the Wayback Machine for prodesigntools.com to try to retrieve the desired download links, but there’s no guarantee you’ll find them or be able to run the software if you find them anyway.

AVX2 isn’t new.

Modern Standard: Almost all CPUs released since 2015 (including AMD Ryzen and Intel Core) feature AVX2, making it a standard requirement for most modern software and games.
