My Creative Cloud application signs out every 30 minutes

Same problem, Windows 7 32-bit. Effective today all of a sudden, Creative Cloud logs me out every 15-30 minutes or so. When I log back in, I'm always greeted with a mesage on the Home tab saying "You updated Creative Cloud, 1 min" as if I just updated Creative Cloud a minute ago. Which I did not. Insanely annoying. Basically every time I open a PDF, it will open, then seconds later close because (presumably) it concludes that I don't have a valid CC membership. So I go log into CC again, then open my PDF. Until a half-hour later when the same thing happens again. Followed the directions to verify correct permissions as suggested elsewhere (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html); no dice. Seriously, just unbelievably annoying. Adobe, seriously, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

DoNotWantAScreenName I reviewed your activation history and you are not affected by difficulties documented in post #6.

It does seem like the software is sending a deactivation request quite often which is why you are then being prompted to sign back in.  I would recommend trying a selective start-up and seeing if you have the same experience.

Jeff thanks for that quick suggestion. However. I can see how doing selective startup might be a useful debugging tool, but, as you can imagine, on a machine that also hosts a development environment, that would be an extremely time-consuming endeavor. I'd prefer to get a list of the specific things that can cause CC to spontaneously send the deactivation requests you're seeing, and start there. Use a targeted rather than shotgun approach.

I've witnessed CC's misbehavior: it's sitting minding its own business on my second monitor, logged in, then BOOM, all by itself, I'm no longer logged in. No messages of any sort. Just goes from logged in, to not logged in. And as I said this is new behavior. Perhaps it corresponded to the most recent update in CC that re-enabled File Syncing but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Thanks again.

I have branched this out to a separate discussion as the review of your activation history has already determined that you are not affected by 64-bit products convert to trial on launch or prompt for activation after licensing | CS6, CCM - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/64-bit-creative-suite-applications-repeatedly.html.

DoNotWantAScreenName I am sorry but I don't have a list of conflicting processes or applications to offer you.  The selective startup step was suggested to help diagnose if you have a conflicting application which could be causing the sign out to occur.

Another option, which has helped others, is to also try a different User account to see if you face the same difficulty.  I did not recommend this step first as the activation history for these Users corresponded with the sign out occuring when they logged out of their User accounts.
