My Creative Cloud drop-down is empty and my icons are question marks.

I have a Mac osx version 10.10.5. After my most recent update the drop down menu went blank and my desktop icons turned to question marks and when I tried to uninstall Creative Cloud it says I can't uninstall because I have Creative Cloud Applications installed on my computer that require it.

Hi Mike,

Please follow the steps below.

  1. Go to the Activity Monitor and terminate all Adobe process.
  2. Please go to the finder. Click on Go on the top menu bar and then click on Go to Folder. In the box type ~/Library and navigate to the folder.
  3. Please rename the OOBE folder to OOBE.old
  4. Restart the Creative Cloud Desktop Application from the Applications folder.

The recent update has uninstalled the previous version and hence the desktop icons are turned to question marks. Please refer to the link below for using and managing the Dock icons. You can create new icons for the updated apps using the instructions on the link below.
