My entire Master Suite CS6 updates, except Aftereffects

I have CS6 and recently had to update my Mac OS to Sierra.

I can understand if AE doesn't work on Sierra, but it seems odd, because all the other apps in CS6 still work.

I've tried to reinstall, but no luck.  Is this a bug, or is somehow Adobe making the requirements for AE more stringent than the rest of the package?

Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra)

After Effects CS6 is what it is.  Adobe has not done anything with any CS6 programs relative to Sierra... they stopped developing CS6 when they came out with their new CC products back in 2013.  Similarly, Sierra was not developed with supporting CS6 in mind.  That you are able to still use any of the older Adobe software in a Sierra system is a blessing you should be happy about.
