My 2nd hard drive crashed. It;s gone. (RMA'ed) Should I try to uninstall Photoshop Elements 12 from Windows 8.1 Pro before trying to re-download? It is still listed as a program, but it may just be a remnant on my main hard drive.

if you can deactivate it (help>deactivate), that would save you some time.

if you can't deactivate it, you can contact adobe support to reset your activation count, http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html
