Been browsing different forums to find a solution, as Adobe removed the option to enter new support tickets . I'm running W7Pro/64 and got the Extention Manager 6.0.5. update today. Failed on error code U44M1P7.

My error log says:

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

----------- Payload: {7E13F325-CE11-42B3-BFD8-C15A8296EACB} Adobe Extension Manager CS6_6.0.5_AdobeExtensionManager6.0All 6.0.5.0 -----------

ERROR: DW050: The following payload errors were found during install:

ERROR: DW050:  - Adobe Extension Manager CS6_6.0.5_AdobeExtensionManager6.0All: Install failed

Please search the above error/warning string(s) to find when the error occurred.

These errors resulted in installer Exit Code mentioned below.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unfortunately I'm not able to de-code this. Anyone out there who can read and understand what I should do?

Regards Hans

Branching this to a separate discussion as your installation log is different than the one posted in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1036343.  The DW063 error indicates a permission issue.  I would recommend you review your installation log in it's entirety by following the steps listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.

For information on how to correct file permissions please see Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html.

I have the same issue. Have had multiple issues with failed installs through Applocation Manager since upgrading the Creative Cloud - never before. Tech support by phone on one occasion caused damage to another application which then had to be uninstalled and reinstalled, losing my preferences in the process. Application Manager is a horror!

To reiterate the U44M1P7 error does not mean anything more than the installation of the update has failed.  The DW063 error listed in the summary is the type of actionable error that one is looking for within the installation logs.  You can also find more details at Installation failed. Error U44M1P7 | Updates - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1p7-installing-updates-ccm.html.
