if  you have your cs4 serial number you can install that directly.  after entering your cs4 serial number you'll be prompted for your qualifying (upgrade) product.  select cs2.  you'll then be prompted for your cs2 serial number.

try using the one you purchased.  if that fails, use the one from here, Error: "Activation Server Unavailable" | CS2, Acrobat 7, Audition 3
