Question

My old Dell D830 died. I have another laptop. I need to deactivate my CS5.5 on my new laptop, but how do I deactivate it when I can't access the other PC?

I now have a HP Elite Book, 8770w 64 bit i7 processor 8GB RAM. The HD died and I wasn't able to deactivate my software. How do I deactivate it so that I can load it on my new laptop.

Interesting Willipal.  Are you signed into http://www.adobe.com/?  Do you use any toolbars?  Any information is beneficial to help ensure others don't experience the same difficulties contacting our support team.

Finally Willipal are you utilizing the same e-mail/Adobe ID to post in the forums that you are using to sign into http://www.adobe.com/?

You need to contact Adobe support thru chat in order to get an inaccessible installation deactivated.  For the link below click the Still Need Help? option in the blue area at the bottom and choose the chat option...

Serial number and activation chat support (non-CC)

You are allowed to have activated instalations on two machines, so you should be able to install and activate on the new machine without waiting if you cannot wait for the deactivation to be done.
