My photoshop is now not acting right. Can I uninstall then reinstall it?

I updated my photoshop and now it freezes when I try to do several things.  One is to convert to black and white in application.  If it's not freezing, it's cropping the far right side of the photo off.  Can I uninstall then reinstall the program?
