My serial number isn't working.

My serial number isn't working. I installed it on a previous computer, but that computer broke, now I'm trying to install it on my new computer but it is telling me that the code is not valid.

I don't have the physical copy of the CD on me, so I decided to download the trial online and license it, but it isn't accepting the serial code.

    Yyliew did you transfer/copy any of your files to your new computer?  Which operating system are you using?

    Finally I would recommend verifying the serial number is valid by ensuring it is registered under your account.  You can find more details at Find your serial number quickly - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.

    I didn't transfer files because I didn't have a backup. I'm using Mac OSX mavericks and it is registered to me!

    Yyliew did you check under your account to verify the serial number is still valid?

    If so then please run all available uninstallers in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.  Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool which can be found at Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html.
