My serial number that was given does not work for installing the adobe premier elements program. What do I do?

The serial number that I was given to install Adobe Premier Elements 14 does not work.  How do I get a working serial number in order to do the installation of a program that I have already paid for.  I can't seem to get anyone over the phone with Adobe to help me.
