My subscription to PS seems to have disappeared - most importantly, my work is missing? What now?

Hi,

I rarely use photoshop but when I do it's really important. Now I can't seem to log into my subscription and am being asked if I want a trial, which is odd. Most importantly, my previous work seems to have vanished. 

I'm not super techie. What do I need to do to straighten this out?
