Need help installing Adobe CS5 on Windows 10 laptop

I have CS5, which I bought several years ago (on CD). It has been running on Windows 7 just fine, but I recently purchased a Dell Latitude laptop with Windows 10 that doesn't have a CD port. I found links to install CS5 and Adobe Pro on the Adobe site, but my attempts failed. I even had a customer service chat person try to walk me through it and it still didn't work. I was told that Adobe doesn't support CS5 any longer and to consult the Community.

Does anybody have any suggestions, or is there a previous post on this that I'm not seeing?

Thank you

Tim

you need to use the exact version that matches your serial number.

the easiest way to do that is to copy your cd to a usb stick (on your win7 computer) and use the usb stick with your new computer.

12 year old versions of Acrobat Pro are out of circulation now & unsupported.  For security reasons, you really need a modern replacement.

What specifically is not working? Are you getting error messages?
