Need help reinstalling Adobe Acrobat X Standard

I am having trouble downloading Adobe Acrobat X Standard on my new Dell computer. I have the disk and the serial number but when I try to download and I put in the serial number, it states that it is not valid. The program came on my old computer that crashed recently. I am able to download it as a trial only, and it says I can enter the serial number later. I'm betting it won't let me use the serial number I have though. Any suggestions appreciated!

Try the serial number

Tried the serial number again, and as predicted, no luck. Had Dell mail me a new serial number, that one didn't work either. Now uninstalling the trial product, going to look for a different online link to it and will try new Dell serial number again.  CD not working with serial number.
