Need to install Illustrator 2020 because Wacom pressure won't work in newer versions

So as i read in a ton of discussions* it weems like every Ai after 24.3 won't install properly on „newer“ macOS (i use Catalina).
There is no promopt to allow Ai to use the Wacom driver in automation (inside the security settings).

The fix seems to be installing a Illustrator Version not older than 2020. 
Unfortunately the version history in my CreativeCloud only goes back to 25.4.1.  … which is Ai 2021

 

So … how can i download a 2020 version?

 

And another qustion: Why in gods name is it, that adobe/wacom/idk can't manage to solve this problem? An illustration software unable to be used with a tablet is just … unneccesary. And we costumers not only paying a lot of monay every month … we loose monay in the time we a are dealing with this issues. Version 2020 is years old now … time to get this issue fixed! Going back to old versions should not be the solution! But atm it is the only workaround …

Adobe now offers the current and ONE older version via the online program manager
.
I do not know how far back this process will go, but try this link
-NOTE that you will have to search the site for your specific download

-the prodesign links go directly to Adobe's file server, so this process will
--only work until Adobe completely removes the old version(s) from the server

IF/When you do have a download, be sure to copy it to AT LEAST one external device
-since Adobe does sometimes remove old versions from the server
-a usb flash drive or external hard drive, or write to a DVD

Thanks. But i the mean time i wrote with costumer support and asked them for a 2020 version of Ai. So i got one.
After just installing it (without deinstalling the other one or whatever … nothing fancy. Both Ai version on my system now) it just worked.
Ai 2022 is now(!) listed in the automation settings in my macOS security settings and everything seems to work like it should.
I can imagine that it still would work when i now deinstall Ai 2020 … but i dont want to risk it.

I will definitly store the Ai 2020 dmg 😉 … but hopefully Adoby can fix this issue soon.
The whole installingprocess of the Wacom was a pain anyway with a lot of security issues on macOS.
So i don't really know if Wacom or Adobe is the one to blame here. But it is a problem for sure.
