I need to install Photoshop on a new computer after the old one broke down. I re-installed from a backup disk and now it is asking me for a new serial number. Cannot deactivate as old computer is broken.

What's the solution?

If I have got OP right , then you are getting the Error "Maximum Activation limit reached"

If so , then Please contact Adobe support to get your activation count resetted , no one would be able to help you.

Please find the quick chat support link:- http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6

You should have your serial number. If you do not have it and you registered your software, your serial number can be found on your Adobe account on the Adobe website.

It's not accepting my registered serial number. It expects a new one.
