NEW CC UPDATE HAS A TON OF GLITCHES -PLS HELP!!

Question

I have been having extensive problems with both Illustrator and Photoshop in the new update. So much so that they are almost rendered useless. Here are the issues:

Both applications work fine after restarting for about 10-15 mins. Then I need to restart for them to work correctly.

Photoshop:

Cannot select one layer in the layers pallette, it selects multiple layers that you have to click on to deselect.

Direct Selection tool is not accessible.

Zoom in (Z) tool is disabled.

Illustrator:

Space bar is not enabled to move the artboard around.

When an object is moved, it automatically gets duplicated, and keeps getting duplicated.

Type is disabled, have to select all, paste again, I cant backspace.

Direct Selection tool becomes disabled.

-Pls help. I am utterly stuck, and this is extremely frustrating. I can't be the only one dealing with these issues. I have a new machine and the software was working fine before the update.

I also experience some of those problems.

For me linked files keep duplicating whenever I move other objects (not even the linked files).

Also in Illustrator the active selection keeps deselecting after like 10 seconds, so I have to select things again and again.

I just installed an older version and the duplicating still occurs there (went from 23.02 to 22.1, Windows 10, 64-bit)
