New computer-Lightroom 6

We want to put our Lightroom 6 on the new PC but the install pull down menu only goes to version 5!  And so it won't accept my serial number.  I accessed the link through my Adobe account so all should be up to date.

Because the old computer is not dead yet we'd like to keep it on both--but Adobe says it can be installed on two computers anyway.

Ideas?  Thanks

It seems that you have an upgrade to LR 6 from a previous version, and you have to enter the serial number of the previous version. (Ancienne version)

Mmh,

I don't understand what that means.

LR5 (that I purchased of course) is installed on my PC and in order to install & use LR6, I would have to enter the serial number of my LR5??

[solved] I finally installed LR6 from scracth, and all works fine!

You may download if you bought direct from Adobe via download
-if you did not buy direct from Adobe via download you must find your original install
-if you bought a disc and don't have a drive you will need to buy an external USB drive

Hi John,

It's not a question of link.

I already have downloaded Lightroom_6_LS11.exe and installed it.

It's rather a question of I have no choice to select LR6 from the list, as you can see below (sorry, it's in french).


Any suggestion, please?

I have followed the links, but it still display only LR 1 to LR5, though I have purchased LR6.

Can you give some hint on this issue, please?
