New HD and OS...photoshop now won't open.

Question

I just got a new Hard disk  installed in my iMac and it was also upgraded to Mavericks.   Now, When I try to open Photoshop (CS 3 and/or 5)  I get an error message telling me to uninstall and reinstall .   How do I do this??

never migrate adobe apps. they should be properly installed.

at this point, uninstall, clean and reinstall per Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
