New iMac, new CC 2019 apps, font weights don't look the same!
I just got a new iMac up and running and have updated Adobe CC 2019 apps. Have opened my ongoing projects in CC 2019 InDesign and all the font weights DON'T look like they should (they were correct in CC 2018. They are all VERY light in weight and don't look right. Previous to 2019, projects have always looked true to life (press printed publications looked same as they did on my monitor). I am very frustrated and now don't know if I will be able to determine if I am using a readable font for printed results. Not sure if I am explaining this correctly in an understandable way. I've made all adjustments to my monitor. Made preferences in applications same as before, but nothing seems to make my fonts look the correct weight. I use an older version of Acrobat and my fonts on PDFs look correct when I export a document from within InDesign 2019 to the older Acrobat, but exporting it to the new Acrobat CC2019 version, font weights look too light there, too. I don't get it. Why are fonts not displaying as they should and are too light in weight? I might add that I use fonts that are resident on my computer because I have purchased and collected thousands of fonts over a period of 20 or more years. Boy to I need help in understanding what the heck is going on!
