New Lightroom CC available - but it doesn't download

My Lightroom CC says that a new version is available and when I click "update" the program closes and the upload should start via Creative Cloud. This doesn't happen. I do not have the possibility to check for updates.

CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when they are not
