New Mac and Photoshop CS6 won't honor my Serial Number

I bought a new iMac. I migrated all of my files from a Time Machine backup. First Photoshop wanted my to sign in and create a new password, which I did. Now when I launch it it's saying that I'm using it as a 30 day trial and to activate it I need to enter my serial number. When I do this it tells me that the serial number is invalid. How can I solve this problem?

      After a BIG HASSLE with this, I' have been unable to resolve this problem and I've decided that I don't need Photoshop badly enough to put up with all of Adobe's installation and configuration problems. I am now using several cheaper and just as good alternatives that install as signed application bundles, as any well-mannered Mac app should. Goodbye Adobe.

      I am having issues with my Photoshop disappearing.  What would you suggest using with my Mac instead?

      @nancyh95122066  We are not clairvoyants! Just other users of Adobe products in this Community Forum.

      Explain what "disappearing" means.

      Please include the following -:
      Adobe product and Version number.
      A Screenshot of the info panel from MENU: Help/System Info...
      Operating system and Version number
      The full text of any Error Message(s)
      What you were doing when the problem occurred
      Screenshots of the problem

      I went to the additional steps of trying to install it with and without logging into my account and I deleted the library files suggested in the additional link. The installer won't accept my serial number.

      First, Tell everyone you know who owns a Mac... Mac Migration and Time Machine DO NOT WORK properly with Adobe program activations due to hidden registration files that are not included when Migration or Time Machine make their copies

      Sign out of your account... Uninstall... run the Cleaner...

      -for non-Cloud programs you need to DE-activate before uninstalling

      -using the cleaner after uninstalling and before reinstalling is often needed

      -Restart your computer... Sign in to your account... Reinstall

      IF Mac El Capitan read below

      CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan

      -which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

      -you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

      I carefully followed all of your instructions. I purchased Photoshop by downloading the Application. When I did, I burned the .dmg to a DVD and wrote the serial number on it. I reinstalled it using the installer. When I launched it it asked for the serial number. I carefully entered it. The app thinks the serial number is incorrect.

      This happened when I upgraded to this version as  well. Seriously? Earth to Adobe, Earth to Adobe, come in adobe.
