Hi,

today I tried to update my Adobe products - Bridge 2015/Lightroom: no problem, but Photoshop CC 2015.5 doesn't work. I got the follow message:

Exit Code: 146

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

- 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 1 warnings(s)

FATAL: Error (Code = 146) executing in command 'MoveDirectoryCommand' for package: 'AdobePreview1.2.0All-win64', version:1.2.0

FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobePreview1.2.0All-win64 Version: 1.2.0). Error code: '146'

WARN: Failed to move directory 'C:\adobeTemp\ETRC159.tmp\1\Application\preview.generate' to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC\Generator\preview20155.generate'

Any hints? Thanxx a lot...

My PC: Windows 10 Pro, 64bit, Intel Core i7-2600CPU @3,4Ghz 3,70GHz, 32GB RAM

Correct answer m.nagoga

In my case this error (146) was caused by Kaspersky Internet Security Online protection. Once it was disabled the PS CC 15.5 installation was successfully performed.

Thank you - disabling the protection for a limited amount of the installation time helped me install the program.

I have the same problem with both Illustrator and PS now.  I was going to try using the CC app to uninstall PS and then re-download after I read those specific instructions in the forums but the uninstall button disappears after the update fails.  I then proceeded to delete through Windows software uninstall but that had it's own error.  The CC app then showed that PS was no longer an update for me but rather a new download which was fine but when I attempted to download and install I got the same 146 error so now I have no PS at all and no way to re-install.  I would count this in the EPIC FAIL  department Adobe.  I have a software service that I'm paying for that I can't access at all and I have work pending.  Great job and thanks for costing me money.

Same problem as OP. Anyone have a solution here?  Kind of rediculous!

2015.5 also will not will not upgrade for me.  I do not get any error messages.  After clicking upgrade button it shows a download in progress but it stays at 0% a few minutes then CC shows Photoshop upgrade button again.
