I have a CS5 in the company I work.  When a new domain user log to the pc to use CS5, he'll be prompted to activate the product.

Why is this so?  and how can I resolve the issue?

Is your issue that you want the other users to use your activated version of CS5 even though it is not licensed to them, or that you don’t want the other user to be prompted about activating?

    Thanks for the reply.

Well, the original staff already left the company.  I have to re-assign the PC to the new staff, who were be using CS5.  Strangely, it keeps prompting to activate the CS5 when the new user used his domain login account.

Btw. I had also changed the computer name to reflect the new user.  Not sure does that cause the activation to be prompted.

Individual licensing is for 1 user on up to 2 computers, and changing the username or the computer name is probably enough to reset licensing.   The proper thing to have done would have been to deactivate CS5 on that computer before anything changed, then you'd have both activations to use, again.  You can probably treat this as a situation where the old hard-drive crashed and you weren't able to decativate, and contact Adobe so they can reset things for the old activation.  There is also a way to transfer a license from one individual to another, and maybe you can do that.  If you're using Enterpise licensing for CS5 there is probably some other way to handle the situation that I'm not familiar with.  With CC for Teams it's pretty easy to reassign seats to different people, but I'm guessing this is an single-license situation.
