New xFinity modem blocks CC

I hope someone here can help me because I have received no help from Comcast.  I just installed a new comcast xfinity modem and upgraded my cable plan to support faster internet speed and more devices. However the new xFinity modem blocks access to my Adobe Creative Cloud app.  From my on-line research, it appears the xfinity modem security is blocking some ports that CC needs to access but I dont know how to change that.  Adobe support says CC needs access to port 1935 and 80 but I have no idea what to do with that info.

Ronm51897422, you will want to work with Comcast to resolve any security settings discrepancies on your cable modem/router.  You can find a list of the servers and ports that you will need access too at https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html.  You will want to focus on the hardware firewall, which is controlled by the router, which is currently either blocking the necessary ports and/or servers.

I have a Cisco DPC3941T Comcast modem as of Dec 2016, and twice today I have both lost Internet and Netflix through the Comcast DVR at my TV and I have had to unplug and restart my modem at the same time that Netflix stopped working

Comcast is (I hope it is now was) having an Internet problem
