      Probably, this is because your computer does not use an operating system that works with After Effects. This could be because your operating system is a 32-bit operating system, and After Effects requires a 64-bit system.

      Are you using the Adobe Application Manager?  What Operating System?

      If After Effects CC is not showing up in the Creative Cloud Application Manager then your system is not compatible with CC. CS6 shold show up. It's a simple as that.

      If you post your system specs we can tell for sure.
