I just got a new computer. Present computer is 9 years old. I have the disc for Acrobat 9, which is sufficient for my use. It says that this was an upgrade and is asking for the serial number of my previous version, which I no longer have. How do I get this installed?

- page has links to programs to find an installed serial number in Mac or Windows
- includes link to your Adobe account to check for registered serial numbers
- when you find your serial number(s) write them down and put in a desk drawer
If you never registered with Adobe (I think it was optional at one time) or you don't still have your old computer to use the link above, you will not be able to install an upgrade version since it requires a previous qualifying serial number
