Question

No options displayed in creative cloud apps panel - just black box

I installed the apps panel and used the creative cloud apps without problem on my last computer but it does not seem to work on my new computer running Windows8.

I download the creative cloud app and install that without problem. But then the Apps panel just opens as a blank black box, no sub menu or anything displayed at all. The only thing that works is the little gear icon in the top right that leads me to help. When I go to the Adobe site to download an app it tells me that the app is downloading but I can not see any evidence that anything is happening and I have waited a long time with no result.

Thanks for any help.

Quit the CC desktop app.

Right click on Creative Cloud Desktop application shortcut> Run With Graphics Processor > Integrated graphics.

If you do not find the above option after right clicking, enable the inbuilt basic graphic card.

Thanks for these replies. I worked through the checklist on connection issues and can find no problems there.

I tried to right click the icon and as suspected I do not see the Run with Graphics Processor Option.

I am not sure about enabling the inbuilt graphics card. When I look at my settings I can see the graphics card is amd firepro m4100. I can not see a basic one and I worry about disabling the AMD one.

Would really like to download some Adobe products, having to make do with free online stuff for now.
