No Qualifying Product- But Valid Lic.??

I am installing Adobe Pro XI on a new laptop and have had a successful download.  However, when I go to use it, the system tells me the serial number you provided is a valid number but that there is no qualifying product found on this computer??

That means you are installing a version that was purchased as an upgrade. It is failing to find an older version that qualifies you to use the upgrade. In this case you should have the option to choose the older version from a drop down list and then enter its serial number to prove you qualify.
