Not accepting my Photoshop Elements 7 serial

Hi

Adobe please help.

I have the cd and cover for photoshop elements 7 with the serial number sticker on it. I downloaded from the adobe website and installed photoshop elemets 7 on my new laptop but it sais my serial is invalid and I had to continue as trial. I double checked and the number is right. Someone in Adobe needs to please fix this problem. There is no reason that it should be invalid as it was only used by me and only on one computer at a time for all this time since I have it. Now that I have a new laptop I need to have it working on it so I can delete it from my old computer.

Thanks

Dee

if you're using the cd disk  to install (not a downloaded file), you're using the wrong number or mis-typing the serial number (6 groups of 4 numbers).

if you're using a downloaded installation file, you may be entering the correct number without error but have a file/serial number mis-match.

    Hi

I'm not entering the serial wrong. Someone sent me a message and said they are adobe help and to connect via chat in skype asking me for my adobe login details and password. Just wondering if it's a scam as it seems weird to me.

That is a scam from someone trying to steal your information... Adobe does NOT use skype

Please post that person's forum ID here so I may make a report to the forum Administrator
