Not enough space on C; Change location CC files

Question

Hi,a few days ago CC stopped updating the apps because there is not enough space left on my C-drive. I cleaned the drive, and threw away a lot. But it was not enough. CC still will not update.So in the CC-preferences I changed the location to my D-drive, which has enough space. But that does not help. CC keeps trying to install on C-drive.What did I do wrong?? Is there a solution? Should I remove CC completely (how do I do that?), and re-install it on D-drive?What can I do??

you must uninstall the adobe apps you don't want in their current location (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html)

then with the CC application opened, choose the 3 dots in the upper right corner and then choose Preferences.

in the preferences panel select Creative Cloud and then look for the Install Location drop down https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/manage-cc-individual-membership.html

NOTE: you cannot install in the root of a drive. so make sure you create a folder (eg, Adobe) on your d-drive and change your install location to the folder.
