nothing, i mean nothing, appears like the instructions...???

I have a CC membership and want to install the CC and CS6CC.

I am following the instructions precisley and when I download cs6 from the cloud panel and go to Help>Updates it tells me all is uptodate.

What am I supposed to do???

Hi gwlco12, the way I understand your message is that you are downloading CS6 and then trying to update to CC, but the system actually works slightly differently. You also mention “CS6 CC”, but this doesn’t exist; it is either CS6 or CC (or both, side-by-side).

Adobe are maintaining CS6 for those (like me) who need to work with the earlier version, and this means that when you download CS6 it is the up-to-date build of CS6. You need to download the CC versions separately.

Go to the Creative Cloud app and see whether you can download them from there. They will all install neatly in their separate folders and then you just need to launch whichever version you need. In my case, I have to exchange files with someone using InDesign CS6, so I have both CS6 and CC versions installed.

Hi Gwlco12,

As a Creative Cloud member you can install either CS6 or CC versions.

I wasn't quite sure what was going wrong based on your description. What were you expecting to see regarding updates? Installing updates through the Creative Cloud app or by going to Help > Updates within the products themselves should give the same result.

Were these the instructions you were following?

Yes that was the instruction. When I go to the link you referenced it instructs me to download and install apps. I cannot install Creative Cloud. It does nothing.

All I want to do is get the CS6 CC. I have the regular CS6 and I understood that the CS6 CC is installed in a different folder.

SOOOOO - how do I download CS6 CC??

From the instructions above when I download CS6 it brings up CS6 but none of the CC enhancements.

GEEZZZZ, It seems this ought to be a little more transparent.

PLEASE GIVE ME THE EXACT INSTRUCTIONS FOR GETTING CS6 CC  ON MY COMPUTER. That is all I want.
