Notifications in CC menubar widget (Adobe Spam): How to stop?

I see there are several posts already about this, with no answers, which of course is because Adobe will never give up a way to spam it's paying customers (they obviously couldn't give a rip about their customers).

Anyway, these Spam notifications in the menubar widget are getting out of hand. It drives me crazy that I pay money to a company for the pleasure of them spamming me constantly with "news" and services that I don't want and don't care about. Adobe really is the pinnacle of a "don't care about the customers" mega corp.

Sigh...
