You can build a house with mud bricks & straw but why would you want to?

Compared to PSE 2021, 15 year old PSE4 would like be like using mud bricks in a modern world.

The newest version of Mac OS X photoshop elements 4 will run on is 10.6 Snow Leopard (circa 2009) with Rosetta installed.

Photoshop elements 4 requires a PowerPC Processor and modern Macs are either Intel or Apple M1 processors.

Original photoshop elements 4 system requirements circa 2005

  • PowerPC® G3, G4, or G5 processor
  • Mac OS X v.10.3 or 10.4
  • 256 MB of RAM
  • 750 MB of available hard-disk space
  • 1,024 x 768 16-bit (XGA) display
  • CD-ROM drive

I doubt PSL version 4  will install and run on any modern operating system. And Specially Not On MacOS 10.15.x or 11.x.

Maybe on an older system running Win XP or 7 or OS X 10.7 or .8

What specific version of Mac OS X? Apple change it often, and break all old apps.
