Old Creative Suite Premium can't activate

Hi,

I did run my old Creative Suite Premium in a perfect way on my Mac with High Sierra as operation system.

Maybe every 50 days one crash, but that was no problem.

Now my hard disk failed, I had to bring a new one in... And I'm putting all the programs back on, also the Creative Suite.

I managed, don't ask me how, .... and now comes the problem.

I can choose between the 30 day trial or activate it.

I try to activate it with my original serial code, but it doesn't take this code anymore.
So I contacted Adobe, which say the servers for activating "these old programs" are taken off... So I CANNOT activate it anymore.

Strange, I paid over 1000 dollar to own these programs, and I cannot activate my OWN program anymore?

They gave me instead a download link towards the 2 version, with an activation serial which should work, but the computer does NOT want to install this version.
So it installs to older version without problems, while the "newer" one is refused.

Can onyone help me out with this problem?

Thank you,

Johan

Ps. I think if you own a serial, at least that serial should work the rest of your life. I don't discuss the fact if a program should be updated or is not working on newer os-versions, I just say if you buy something, this should be YOURS for the rest of your life. Right? Because in this way, MY programs would also not be able to wok anymore on Snow Leopard or older, just because the "old- serial-servers" are taken offline.

CS3 and Acrobat 8 activation server is retired see reply #1 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2372929

-you MUST use the special serial number AND the special installer you download, not your originals

-above includes a link to get the special version AND links to help with activation problems

-more information on activation problems with the new version https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2385900

CS2 + Acrobat 7 + Audition 3 (AND EARLIER) Activation Server is gone, so read below

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html?promoid=19SCDRQK

You MUST use the special version and serial number on the page, not your original disc or serial number

I have an old creative suite I purchased years ago with all the add-ons. My old desktop died and I didn't have enough room on my laptop to install it. I now have a new desktop and even with all the pertinent information, eg serial number, etc., I am unable to active the program once it has been installed. Does anyone have a phone number that works to ask for help from Adobe? Thanks.

I did run my old Creative Suite Premium

Which version? CS2 or CS3?

John, it's the one. And yes, I can run it too... I don't see any problems with working on any of the programs. But the problem is, the servers for the serial are taken offline by ADOBE, means I can run it for free as a trial for 30 days, and that I have to activate it. My serial is 100% ok, but the programs won't take it, as the servers are taken offline, so it will be not longer accepted, means after the 30 days trial... It's finished!
