Online storage amount issue – it's double the local size

I'm on a 100GB plan. My local CC Files folder is 48.73 GB but my online files view shows 94.6 GB so it's nearly full.

I permanently erased the Deleted folder on the server. I manually checked the folders. I hardly use the Lightroom or the Docs cloud.

I use MBP on macOS Mojave.

it turns out I lied... I didn't check the Lightroom library (which I have never paid much attention to) and turns out that 50 photos there are over 40GB. It's a bit crazy. I deleted them and now got my storage back.

Lightroom (not Lightroom Classic!) loads the original raw files to the cloud. If you are on a 100Gb plan (or for a Photography plan: 20Gb), the space is filled up in little time. If you are using Lightroom, you should consider upgrading to 1Tb. I use Lightroom Classic, which is less „mobile“ as I store my RAW files locally, but it consumes no cloud space.
