    Correct answer okeerider

If you can't Unzip the licensing repair utility Okeerider then you may want to just adjust the file permissions per solution #2 offered by John in message #2.  You can find details on how to adjust your file permissions at Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html.

Ok kglad, John & Jeff, serious operator error on my end. When the Pro 10 did not work, I deleted it, then contacted support to start over. I thought the file they sent me would reinstall & fix my license problem. The repair file was looking for the program that was not there, did the download and guess what, problem solved. Many thanks for all the time & effort, maybe another DA will do the same thing one day & you can save yourself ’s a bunch of time!

you would use an unzip utility (like pkzip) to unzip a file, but adobe generally supplies self-extracting files.

after I extract the file & try to run it flashes & disappears it does appear to be a self extracting file

then it's part of some other file that extracts it.

    from where did it come?
