Hi. I am new to the world of Macs and CC. I bought CC a fortnight ago and only yesterday I purchased a Mac with the version OS X 10.7.5 It says that to download CC software I must have OS X 10.9 or later. I went to the app store and upgrades and there were no upgrades available. When I attempted to download OS sierra it also would work because of my laptop. what can I do? Am I able to download an earlier version of CC instead or is there anyway around upgrading my OS software?

Please help. In a panic after purchasing a Mac that it might not even work on

Not sure where you went in the App Store but you can definitely upgrade from 10.7.5 to macOS Sierra

Did you follow the steps given by Apple?

macOS - How to Upgrade - Apple (AU)

App Store link: macOS Sierra on the Mac App Store

When I attempted to download OS sierra it also would work because of my laptop.

What do you mean. Can you provide more detail?
