Password won’t work

Can't install Lightroom / photoshop - Adobe created password for me. When I copied and pasted in to box to install it won't work. I thought it would just autofill but do isn't. I copied and pasted. Now what?

Nancy, which operating system are you attempting to install Photoshop and Lightroom on?  If you are using macOS, please review and bookmark https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/asked-administrator-password-mhosxlogo1438/mac which discusses how to enter the administrator password to allow for applications to be installed.

This is the standard prompt, you will see it when installing ALL apps. You need to recognise it, so you aren't tricked into installing malware.

Thank you! I thought it was asking for my Adobe password (you’d think!) . Worked.

No, the Adobe password is only used to access our services. It is not related to providing proper access to allow applications to be installed on the operating system.
