PC upgrade for no reason

At one time, I had all the programs loaded onto my computer using CS6. I then stopped using the programs and when I needed Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I decided to load in creative cloud again, where I have all the programs again, but this time I only use 3 of them. Everything was fine until the other day when I was using both Illustrator and Photoshop without being online for about 6 months.

After that time, It was as if I somehow went past a certain amount of time to "check in" and so Photoshop told me to upgrade my hardware. Now it still loads, but it says I need to upgrade my hardware. I don't keep anything on the computer, I put everything on external hard drives, and I have updates of all my programs turned off. How is it that I "must upgrade my hardware," now, after 6 months of everything just working fine?

It appears Adobe (or someone at Adobe) installed Adobe Acrobat without my knowledge, 3 days ago, right when my computer started acting up. Is it ai? Is a some random Russian hacker? Who knows. But after deleting that program, we're back to normal. Thank you everyone for your speedy reply!
