Phony version of PS CS 6

My download from Adobe has led to a installation that is recognized as a phony version of PS CS6. I installed this program on my laptop earlier today and it went fine. This download came from the same place that I used for my laptop. The license was recognized as correct and after 30 minutes of installing, the install came back as phony from the Adobe site. I have tried twice with the same result. The hard drive has 580GB space left, I am using Windows 7 64 bit, and I have LR 4 installed on this machine. I turned off the anitvirus the 2nd install and allowed every thing quiered by Windows. Should I uninstall and delete the download and get it again?

As Mylenium stated we need additional details.  Can you please provide the exact error message you received.  Also where did you obtain your copy of Photoshop CS6 from?

It finally loaded correctly on my desktop after four attempts. It came from the Adobe site. Maybe my desktop was trying to update Windows or something else at the same time. It has installed and I am using it to edit a shoot I'm doing today. Thanks for your reply!

You're not making sense. What does "phony" in your vocabulary mean? We need to know the exact error message it gives. This could by all means simply be a compatibility issue with anotehr Adobe software on your system, and your LR4 possibly qualifies for that. Feeel free to run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool until your toe nails curl up, but unless we get to the bottom of the issue, this may not resolve anything.

Well, whatever you say... You wanted help, and if you can't be bothered to provide proper details, then it can't be that important to you...
