Photoshop 13.1.2 update for Creative Cloud fails

The Creative Cloud “app” keeps saying there is an update for Photoshop CS6, so I tried to update it, but I kept getting an error message- U44M1P7. I followed the link to https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1p7-installing-updates-ccm.html, and tried renaming the AAMupdater 1.0 to old, and tried again, but it never works, and gives me a 49 error.

It also suggested that I download the update manually, but this update is not listed on CS6 page.

I followed the link to the 49 error, but its solution is similar to one above, which still does not help.

Currently I have Photoshop 13.0.6 (in addition to CC subscription), on my Mac running Sierra- 10.12.6.

update by downloading the cs6 files directly and then applying them::  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Thanks, but as I said, I went to that page, then followed link to Photoshop, where the newest update is from 2013. So, unless I should look in a different section...?

I looked inside what the AAMUpdater did create, and I see two log files:

I also quit out of Creative Cloud app, then relaunched it- now it does not list CS6 at all!

that's the last ps cs6 update for non-subscriptions.

you could try uninstalling ps cs6 and then reinstalling.

uninstall ps cs6, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

then reinstall and update
