Photoshop 15 and Windows 10 32 bit x64 bit

I have just purchased and downloaded Photoshop Elements 15 and Premiere

Elements 15. Before purchasing these products, I spoke with someone at the

Adobe Store via telephone because I was concerned about these products

requiring a 64-bit system. I have Windows 10 32 bit "64-bit ready". The

person assured me that I would be able to run Elements 15. The short story

is - I can not !! When I try to open the downloaded "PSE15" my PC "freezes".

As a test, I tried to open Elements 12 (which is 32 bit and still in my

Downloads folder) - it opened immediately. I also tried to open Photoshop

and then Premiere, with the same results. My reason for buying "15" was that

recent updates of Windows 10 makes my Photoshop /Organizer 12 unusable.

What help can you give me with this? If I can not use "15" because my

operating system is 32 bit x64-based processor then what can I do to change

my PSE 12 in order to make it work with Windows 10 now and in the future?

Also, if "15" is not operable on my system (as the sales person had assured

me it would) how can I have my money refunded?

    Not much, Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

    -RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window

    -or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... says Encore, but sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account)

    HOWEVER... running today does not always mean running later... every time Microsoft issues a Win10 update, there is the risk that an old program that HAS been working after the initial Win10 upgrade will STOP working... bottom line, old programs require a matching old operating system

    I believe the person who told you that Elements 15 would work on a Windows 10 32bit installation must have misunderstood you - 64bit software will not run in a 32bit operating system. You probably were running a previous  32bit version of Windows and upgraded to Windows 10 at some point?

    Older software like Elements 12 will never be updated by Adobe: it is meant to be run in an older version of Windows, and Adobe cannot possibly keep older versions updated when newer OSs appear. Way too much work and not worth it.

    You options are to upgrade your Windows 10 to a 64bit version (which will allow you to run Elements 15), or ask for a refund and switch to other software that is still WIndows 10 32bit compatible.
