Photoshop 2025 AND 2026 "Uninstall" is not working.

Help: the "Uninstall" function for Photoshop 2025 AND Photoshop 2026 are not working. If I update the App  leaves behind a folder of the older version (taking up alot of space!). What should I do? I do not want to loose my preference/settings etc and I am afraid this would happen if I simply trash them?

Thank you.

Well, I have the same issue as the TS, that I can't uninstall Photoshop2025, now that i have Photoshop2026, I just get sent to Creative Cloud, and the PS2025-folder retains all files.

I had the same problems, other user suggested reinstaling the version you had installed, mine was version 2025 of photoshop, it took 10gb of space, took me a couple of hours of trying different ways to uninstall it. Finally I try reinstalling it again, but you need the exact version you had installed, in windows 10 you can look that up on the apps and features section, after you click in photoshop it shows you what version was installed under the name. Once I reinstalled that version on adobe creative cloud, the space the app took up, went from 10gb to 4.6gb, once reinstalled I was able to uninstall it through adobe creative cloud app. Hope this same some time for some of you if you find this problems in 2026. Wow that took way too long fix.

Sorry, don't quite get this...I have the same issue. What do you mean with "reload"? Just to start it? Where is this "re-installed" funtional "uninstall"? Do I need to remove both 2025 and 2026-versions, before reinstalling 2026(27.2)?

reload was intended to mean reinstall.

SOLVED IT!

I reloaded the older versions of PS2025 and PS2026 (v26.11.1 and v.27), which re-installed a functional "uninstall" function. I then proceeded to uninstall both and finally I install the latestest version.27.1 leaving me with a single PS folder :-).
