Photoshop 23 and Lightroom 5 not compatible with MacOS Mojave

I have the updates on creative Cloud telling me they are not compatible, how do I resulve this

SHORT ANSWER:  Upgrade to modern equipment and operating system.  🙂

 

Ensure your computer CPU & GPU meet the new system requirements:

- https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/system-requirements.html
- https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-cc-gpu-card-faq.html

Failing that, stick with older versions until you're ready to upgrade.

I have more than the basic requirements to run the programme so upgrade is not needed, there is another problem why it is not compatable, maybe a bug in the new programmes

No bug. It's by design. As new versions of software are released, Adobe drops support for older operating systems.

 

Adobe only supports the current version of macOS and two most recent major versions. Each time there's a major upgrade they drop support for the oldest version that was supported in the previous version.

 

In other words, Photoshop 22 and Lightroom 4 supported Mojave, Catalina and Big Sur.

 

Now Photoshop 23 and Lightroom 5 only support Catalina, Big Sur and Monterey. Support for Mojave was dropped in this release.

 

Is anything preventing you from upgrading your operating system from Mojave to a newer OS? It's a free upgrade.
