PHOTOSHOP AND BRIDGE TAKING FOREVER TO LOAD AND CRASHING

I recently updated to Ventura on my Mac. Having terrible issues with photoshop today. Won't let me RESIZE any photos. Constantly crashing... has never behaved like this before.  Taking longer than usual to load.  I've done virus checks and system disk checks and can't seem to find any issues on my end. Any suggestions?
